    奥沙艺术基金将于奥沙观塘举办的《幼儿创意艺术展 ― 色彩的变奏》，展出超过200件来自香港基督教服务处辖 下9 所幼儿学校300多位小艺术家的平面及立体创作。

    色彩，雄奇浩瀚；节奏，宁谧出尘。「色彩的变奏」是幼儿以最率真的胸怀，配以绚丽色彩和多元艺术媒体，藉由「线条」的交错、「肌理」的刻画、「形体」的创造和「空间」的拓展，随心所感地表达出他们对周遭世界的想象和认知。

    透过是次艺术展，让我们在童稚的笔触中相遇、在缤纷色彩的作品中共舞，游走于幼儿丰富的想象中、从心感受其眼底下种种的色彩变奏。

    由香港基督教服务处举办的《幼儿创意艺术展 ― 色彩的变奏》首展刚于2009年5月7日至5月10于香港文化中心完满结束。香港基督教服务处一直致力支持儿童艺术发展及培训，为幼童提供学前艺术教育，更获香港艺术发展局颁发「2008香港艺术发展奖」艺术教育奖(非学校组)金奖，以表扬他们在推动香港艺术发展的贡献。

    自2005年以来，奥沙艺术基金一直义务为香港基督教服务处提供专业艺术意见及设计和宣传的支持。基金期望透过教育及提供机会以强化社会大众对艺术的参与。通过举办艺术展览及其它活动，包括提倡将艺术工作坊融入学前教育课程的「艺术倡议计划(AIP)」，奥沙艺术基金旨在促进艺术与教育之间的桥梁，鼓励创意和批判思维，发展及推广创新研究、教学及学习模式。

    《幼儿创意艺术展 ― 色彩的变奏》的展出作品均作义卖筹款，筹得款项将拨归香港基督教服务处「幼儿艺术发展基金」，持续支持幼儿艺术发展工作。
 

    Osage Art Foundation is pleased to present the Children’s Creative Arts Exhibition - Their Melodic Palette, an exhibition of more than 200 two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks by over 300 little artists from the nine Hong Kong Christian Service (HKCS) Nursery schools.

    Through strikingly bold and exceedingly grand colours, serenely captivating and exceptionally pure rhythms, “Their Melodic Palette” is presented. Through a variety of art media and vibrant colours, innocent children express their impression and imaginings of the world with crisscrossing brushstrokes, detailed textures, interesting shapes, and new spatial dimensions. We cordially invite members of the public to come closer and experience the melodic palette of a child’s imagination.

    First shown at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre from May 7th – May 10th 2009, the exhibition is organised by the Hong Kong Christian Service (HKCS). HKCS has been providing pertinent education and training for young children and is a tireless supporter of early childhood creative arts education. They recently received the Hong Kong Arts Development Awards 2008 - Gold Award for Arts Education (Non-school) from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in recognition of their unstinting support and contribution to arts development.

    Since 2005, Osage Art Foundation has partnered HKCS in offering professional artistic support and providing assistance in design and publicity. One of the main objectives of the Foundation is to increase community participation in the arts through education and by providing access. This exhibition is a reflection of that commitment. Through this exhibition, and other initiatives such as the Art Initiative Programme (AIP), a pilot programme to introduce art workshops in pre-school curriculums currently being developed, Osage Art Foundation aims to foster the link between education and the arts, nurture creativity and critical thinking, promote and develop innovative practice in research, teaching and learning.

    The works in the exhibition are for sale and all proceeds will be donated to the Hong Kong Christian Service Children’s Art Development Fund.
